IAD Restaurant

At the opposite pole of the Heaven sweetshop project is Hell. Located in the same historic building and enjoying the increased accessibility from Calea Victoriei, Hell illustrates exactly the idea of “sinner”. The access gangway, which is also a visual connection to Heaven through the glazed area, welcomes users with a diffused light that highlights the arches of the building, having as the central piece an area of glass embedded in the floor highlighted by a red light. Once we move towards the main area, red color announces the central part of the design: the bar. The red metallic accents are harmoniously combined with the use of non-color in the side annexes and in the chromaticity of the secondary furniture, and the historical background, the facade at the perspective end of the terrace, completes and closes the whole. The artificial light places the bar as the defining piece, but it is also carefully positioned to highlight the historical facade that serves as the background of Hell.
